This Better2Know Herpes Blood Test will tell you if you have Herpes 1,2, neither or both. You do not need to have symptoms to take this test
This test is designed for anyone who thinks that they might have the Herpes Simplex Virus
The test detects The Herpes IgG antibodies, or immune proteins, that your body produces in response to a viral infection, shown after the incubation period of 4-6 weeks

The blood test will take around 10 minutes. The test will be administered by a qualified medical professional at our clinic.
Once your blood sample has been taken, it will be sent to our accredited laboratory for analysis. Results for this test take from two working days after the sample is received by the laboratory.
Your results will be uploaded to your secure online Patient Area once they are ready. Results are uploaded 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be notified when your results are ready by your choice of telephone call, email, or SMS.
Should you test positive for Herpes, your Better2Know doctor can help. While there is no cure for Herpes, many people find that outbreaks decrease in severity and have a longer time in between with time. Any symptoms can be helped with medication.
